This illustrated novella about the displacement caused by gentrification as seen from the perspective of the artist’s role in the cycle needed a special treatment to convey a reading pace somewhere between the encapsulated page of a children’s storybook and the spare space around a poem. Wide margins, a type size slightly bigger than the typical prose, and illustrations evenly paced before each chapter start.
